Kellan, the Kid rewards casting spells from anywhere other than your hand by chaining free permanent deployments or landing extra lands, so the deck focuses on stacking as many alternative casting mechanics as possible — foretell, suspend, plot, and exile-cast effects — to keep Kellan's trigger firing repeatedly. Supporting creatures like Vega, the Watcher and Sage of the Beyond amplify this engine by drawing cards and reducing costs whenever you cast from outside your hand, generating enormous card and mana advantage over time. The deck wins through overwhelming resource generation and board presence, with top-end threats like Notorious Throng and Alrund's Epiphany converting that advantage into extra turns and game-ending attacks.
