This deck ramps hard in the early turns with mana creatures and treasure, deploys a hand full of resource-generating permanents and board protection in the midgame, then builds oversized threats and lands Tifa, Martial Artist to finish. Tifa untaps everything whenever a creature with power 7 or greater connects with a player, and if that happens in the first combat she grants an extra combat phase, so a single big hit becomes a second full attack with all creatures ready to swing again. Melee also grows Tifa by attacking an opponent, giving her a stronger body in each attack. How it wins: Around turns 8-9, the deck assembles a board of power 7+ attackers, connects once to trigger Tifa, then swings again in an extra combat with untapped creatures to deal lethal damage in a single turn. Key cards: - Mana ramp: Mana dorks, rocks, and treasure makers that make the early mana advantage and let the deck deploy most of its hand by turn 3. - Resource engines: Creatures and spells that generate cards, mana, or tokens in the midgame, keeping the hand full while threats are built up. - Power 7+ threats: Large creatures and effects that raise power, since only creatures with power 7 or greater trigger Tifa's untap and extra combat. - Evasion and trample enablers: Cards that give flying, trample, or unblockability so a big creature reliably connects with a player to trigger Tifa. - Board protection and one-sided stax: Protective spells and lock pieces that keep the board and Tifa safe while the plan comes together, without slowing the deck's own development.
