Anafenza, the Foremost leads a +1/+1 counter-based creature strategy that continuously piles counters onto the board through combat triggers, incremental accumulation, and doubling effects like Winding Constrictor and Innkeeper's Talent at higher levels. The deck leverages untap effects and vigilance to keep attackers available at all times, enabling Anafenza to distribute counters broadly while the growing army applies increasing pressure through first strike, trample, and menace. Anafenza's graveyard-replacement ability also passively dismantles opponent recursion and reanimator strategies, and the deck wins primarily by overwhelming opponents with a wide, buffed board of creatures that compound their power each combat step.
