Winter, Cursed Rider leads an artifact-centric strategy that floods the board with small artifact creatures, protecting them and your other permanents with a layer of ward taxes that drain opponents of life and resources. The deck builds a wide artifact presence while drawing cards and stalling opponents through tap effects, bounce, and combat tricks, gradually accumulating artifacts in the graveyard. When ready, Winter's one-time exhaust ability converts that graveyard pile into a board-clearing mass -X/-X effect, wiping out opposing creatures while leaving your artifacts unscathed and setting up an uncontested attack for the win.
