Dihada, Binder of Wills
Dihada, Binder of Wills Commander Deck
Dihada leads a legends-matter Mardu midrange deck packed with legendary creatures, especially big Angels and Dragons. Her -3 digs four cards deep, keeping legends and turning every miss into a Treasure while stocking the graveyard. Her +2 makes a key legend a vigilant, lifelinking, indestructible threat. The deck cheats its fatties out through Kaalia, mass and targeted reanimation, and legend-copying, then attacks with evasive, hasty, damage-doubled bodies, with Dihada's -11 as an eventual board-stealing finisher. How it wins: It overwhelms opponents in combat with flying legendary Angels and Dragons, amplified by damage doubling, extra combats and keyword sharing, or closes with Dihada's -11 by stealing every nonland permanent and swinging with all of it. Key roles: - Legendary dig and value: Dihada's -3, attack-trigger card selection and legend-cast draw engines find legends and turn misses into mana, while blank-free hands make legend-only mana sources reliable (Shanid, Sleepers' Scourge, Djeru and Hazoret, Plaza of Heroes) - Cheating in Angels and Dragons: Kaalia's attack trigger and tutoring put expensive Angels and Dragons into play tapped and attacking or into hand without paying full cost (Kaalia of the Vast, Kaalia, Zenith Seeker, Cavern of Souls) - Reanimation loop: cards Dihada's -3 bins become targets for single and mass recursion, with death-trigger Dragons and legend-death damage rewarding creatures that die (Primevals' Glorious Rebirth, Living Death, Rakdos Joins Up) - Legend copying and blink: hasty token copies and repeated enter-the-battlefield effects double up legendary arrival triggers and recursion (Cadric, Soulkindler, Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle, Conjurer's Closet) - Combat amplification: doubled damage, extra combats, team-wide keyword sharing and haste turn a board of legends into lethal swings (Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Aurelia, the Warleader, Odric, Lunarch Marshal) - Protecting the board and Dihada: indestructibility, one-sided legend-safe wipes and planeswalker protection keep the legends and Dihada alive long enough to reach -11 (Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Urza's Ruinous Blast, Deification)
