The deck revolves around casting large creatures with mana value 4 or greater, using Helga's triggered ability to snowball card draw, life gain, and power growth with each spell. As Helga grows stronger, her tap ability generates increasingly large sums of colored mana, which feeds directly back into casting more big creatures or scaling X-cost creatures whose power depends on how much mana is available. The strategy forms a self-reinforcing loop where each large creature spell makes Helga bigger, which makes her mana production more explosive, enabling even more expensive threats to close out the game.
