Vivi Ornitier sits at the center of a spellslinging storm deck that rewards casting noncreature spells by growing in power and pinging opponents, while also generating mana equal to his power to fuel increasingly explosive turns. The deck accelerates through cost reduction, mana rituals, and spell-copying effects to chain instants and sorceries in large quantities, triggering magecraft and damage abilities from supporting creatures to grind opponents down. The primary win conditions involve either combining Frantic Search with Underworld Breach and a storm or copy-doubling enchantment to generate near-infinite spell repetition, or assembling Niv-Mizzet, Visionary alongside Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind to generate infinite card draw converted into lethal damage.
