The Ur-Dragon Commander Deck
The Ur-Dragon leads a five-color Dragon tribal deck that leverages cost-reduction effects and mana acceleration to flood the battlefield with powerful Dragons as quickly as possible, then swings wide to trigger the commander's attack ability, drawing massive cards and cheating permanents directly into play. The deck generates overwhelming board presence through snowballing effects — Dragons that create tokens on attack, deal damage when others enter, and pump the entire team — while planeswalkers like Nicol Bolas add disruption and card advantage. The primary win condition is infinite combat phases generated by Hellkite Charger paired with the untap effect of Sword of Feast and Famine, while alternate paths include Atarka, World Render granting double strike to an enormous Dragon army or Utvara Hellkite burying opponents in an ever-growing flood of 6/6 tokens.
