Tinybones - Discard
Tinybones, Bauble Burglar Commander Deck
Mono-black discard and resource denial built around Tinybones, Bauble Burglar, which exiles every card an opponent discards with a stash counter and lets the deck play those cards on its own turn using any type of mana. The list piles on forced discard from enter-the-battlefield creatures, upkeep and cast-trigger enchantments, and symmetrical wheels, all of it feeding Tinybones' stolen-card pile and payoffs that punish empty hands. A layer of symmetrical sacrifice and lock pieces grinds opponents' boards and lands away while black's mana engines and stolen cards keep the deck ahead. How it wins: Opponents are stripped to empty hands and depleted boards, then drained by hellbent and discard punishers like Tinybones, Trinket Thief's ten-point activation, Torment of Hailfire, Painful Quandary and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, with the Sensei's Divining Top, Aetherflux Reservoir and Bolas's Citadel loop as an alternate instant finish. Key roles: - Forced discard engine: Creatures with enter triggers and repeatable symmetrical effects make opponents discard every turn, steadily filling Tinybones, Bauble Burglar's stash of playable stolen cards (Necrogen Mists, Bottomless Pit, Oppression) - Discard payoffs: These cards turn each opponent discard into extra cards, tokens, mana or permanents stolen onto the battlefield, multiplying the value of every discard effect (Waste Not, Geth's Grimoire, Tergrid, God of Fright // Tergrid's Lantern) - Empty-hand punishment: Once hands are gone, these drain opponents directly or tax them with lose-life-or-discard choices they can no longer afford (Tinybones, Trinket Thief, Torment of Hailfire, Painful Quandary) - Prison and attrition: Symmetrical sacrifice and denial pieces lock down lands, creatures and attacks while the deck's cheap threats and stolen cards rebuild faster (Smokestack, Braids, Cabal Minion, Ensnaring Bridge) - Stealing and reanimation: Reanimation and graveyard-hate creatures take opponents' best creatures and cards for the deck's own use, alongside self-entomb tricks to cheat big threats out (Reanimate, Dauthi Voidwalker, Opposition Agent) - Devotion mana and life-as-resource combo: Swamp and devotion mana engines and rituals fuel heavy turns, while paying life converts into cards and casts, culminating in the Top, Reservoir and Citadel loop (Bolas's Citadel, Aetherflux Reservoir, Crypt Ghast)
