Ingris Stingerquill
Ingris Stingerquill Commander Deck
The deck turns every attack into poison. Ingris Stingerquill makes each attacking creature deal 1 noncombat damage to each opponent, and with infect creatures that damage becomes poison counters on the whole table before blockers matter. Noncombat damage amplifiers, proliferate and haste enablers turn a few cheap infect bodies into multiple poison counters per opponent each attack. How it wins: It swings with a wide board of infect creatures and amplified attack triggers to put every opponent to ten poison, with Ingris Stingerquill plus Mana Echoes as an alternate route to infinite hasty Cadets and damage. Key roles: - Poison attackers: Cheap infect creatures and infect-granting effects turn Ingris Stingerquill's per-attacker ping into a poison counter on each opponent, so every swing poisons the whole table even if the creature is blocked or chump-attacks. Some, like the lords and fliers, add extra combat poison on top. (Plague Stinger, Hand of the Praetors) - Noncombat damage amplifiers: Effects that increase or double noncombat damage to opponents multiply each attack trigger, so a single infect attacker can hand out two or more poison per opponent. The red-only boosters push the deck's red damage sources and Hellrider-style extra pings. (Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Tomik, Izzet Sparkmage, Hawkeye, Young Avenger) - Haste and go-wide: Granting haste and making tokens lets freshly cast creatures attack immediately and trigger Ingris Stingerquill at once. Extra per-attacker triggers stack on top of hers. (Samut, Hazoret's Champion, Song of Totentanz, Hellrider) - Cadet combo: Ingris Stingerquill's Cadets all share creature types, so Mana Echoes refunds more colorless mana with each new Cadet. Once enough are out, this loops into infinite hasty tokens that each deal damage when they attack. (Mana Echoes, Enduring Courage) - Proliferate and direct poison: Proliferate effects and spells that hand out poison directly close the last few counters without combat or after a partial swing. (Vraska, Betrayal's Sting, Infectious Inquiry, Karn's Bastion) - Disruption and discard: Random-discard attackers trigger off every Ingris Stingerquill ping, and hand-wipe effects strip opponents' resources. Mana-denial and timing stax pieces slow opponents while the poison clock runs. (Hypnotic Specter, Magus of the Moon, Defense Grid)
