Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm sits at the center of a dense Dragon pile: every nontoken Dragon that enters gets copied by Miirym as a nonlegendary token, doubling each enter-the-battlefield effect and each Dragon-enters trigger. The deck ramps quickly with mana creatures, rocks and land fetch, then deploys Dragons that burn, kill creatures or make Treasures, with Scourge of Valkas pinging for the number of Dragons each time one enters. How it wins: It floods the board with Dragon copies whose enter triggers burn out opponents and creatures, then swings with flying Dragons empowered by Atarka, World Render's double strike. Key roles: - Enter-trigger Dragons: Generate repeatable value and damage when copied by Miirym, such as Dragonlord Atarka and Demanding Dragon. - Dragon-enters payoffs: Punish every Dragon entering by dealing damage or making tokens, such as Scourge of Valkas and Lathliss, Dragon Queen. - Combat multipliers: Turn the flying Dragon army into lethal attacks through double strike or doubled power, such as Atarka, World Render and Thrakkus the Butcher. - Dragon cost reducers: Cut Dragon costs so several can be cast in one turn, such as Dragonlord's Servant and Sarkhan, Soul Aflame. - Mana acceleration: Produce the large amounts of mana needed to cast the expensive Dragons early, such as Somberwald Sage and Savage Ventmaw.
