Ingris Stingerquill
Ingris Stingerquill Commander Deck
Ingris Stingerquill turns every attacking creature into a direct-damage source: each attacker deals 1 noncombat damage to each opponent, so the deck goes wide with goblins and other tokens, gives them haste (Ingris's own {4} Cadet ability, haste enablers, token makers that grant haste) and swings with as many bodies as possible. Because the attacking creatures themselves deal that noncombat damage, damage amplifiers multiply every trigger. Tripling effects, +2 for red sources and +X/+1 noncombat boosters turn a wide attack into a lethal burst before combat damage even lands. Sacrifice-and-death payoffs, reusable treasure and artifact drain, and mana rituals feed the explosive turns. How it wins: A large, hasty, amplified token army attacks all at once, and each attacker's Ingris trigger, multiplied by damage doublers and boosters, burns every opponent out simultaneously, with combat damage and death drains finishing anyone left. Key roles: - Go-wide token generation: Goblin engines, lieutenants and mass token spells produce many attackers so every combat creates a flood of Ingris damage triggers (Krenko, Mob Boss, Siege-Gang Lieutenant, Empty the Warrens). - Haste enablers: Fresh tokens and copies can attack the turn they appear, letting a single turn of token making convert straight into Ingris triggers, alongside Ingris's own haste-granting Cadet ability (Samut, Hazoret's Champion, Song of Totentanz, Twinflame). - Damage amplification: Effects that triple or add to damage from sources the player controls scale each attacker's 1-point ping, and the boosters that only touch noncombat damage still apply because Ingris's ping is noncombat (Fiery Emancipation, Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, Hawkeye, Young Avenger). - Death and sacrifice drain: Creatures and artifacts dying, including tokens, symmetrical edicts and treasure, turn into life loss, cards or damage, punishing blockers and board wipes (Garna, Bloodfist of Keld, Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Master). - Artifact and treasure value: Treasure and artifact makers fuel mana and create Munitions or drain triggers when sacrificed, with a spell-copy engine adding more treasure (Academy Manufactor, Weapons Manufacturing, Storm-Kiln Artist). - Rituals and burst mana: Rituals and creature-count mana power out multiple tokens, Cadet activations and convoked enchantments in one big turn (Battle Hymn, Dark Ritual, City on Fire).
