Dragonlord Silumgar leads a theft-focused control deck that wins by taking permanent control of opponents' best creatures and planeswalkers through a dense package of steal effects, control magic enchantments, and enter-the-battlefield abilities that permanently or conditionally seize enemy permanents. The deck supplements this by casting opponents' own spells against them, using cards like Gonti, Lord of Luxury and effects that exile and play cards from opponents' libraries and graveyards. A suite of counterspells, board wipes, and taxing enchantments keeps the deck alive long enough to win through attacking with stolen threats or accruing overwhelming card and permanent advantage by controlling more of the table's best permanents than anyone else.
