Voja, Jaws of the Conclave

Voja, Jaws of the Conclave Commander Deck

by halfgrown100 cards

The deck fills the board with Elves and a few Wolves, then attacks with Voja. On each attack Voja puts X +1/+1 counters on every creature, where X is the number of Elves, and draws a card for each Wolf. Counter doublers multiply that mass placement, and damage-on-counter enchantments and creatures turn it into direct damage to opponents. Changelings and Maskwood Nexus make creatures count as both Elves and Wolves, and the Elf mana engine powers out the board and pays for big turns. How it wins: A Voja attack pumps a wide, trampling board with huge stacks of counters for lethal combat damage, often with damage triggers from placing the counters finishing opponents off. Key roles: - Elf mana engine: Mana Elves and Elf-scaling producers ramp fast into Voja and dump the hand, often producing enough to cast everything in one turn (Priest of Titania, Elvish Archdruid, Marwyn, the Nurturer) - Go-wide Elf and Wolf bodies: Token makers and lords raise the Elf count that sets Voja's counter number, and supply Wolves that turn each Voja attack into card draw (Imperious Perfect, Lys Alana Huntmaster, Tolsimir, Friend to Wolves) - Tribal glue: Changeling creatures and an every-type artifact make each creature both an Elf and a Wolf, maximizing both halves of Voja's trigger at once (Maskwood Nexus, Irregular Cohort, Masked Vandal) - Counter multipliers: Replacement effects double or increase every +1/+1 counter placement, so Voja's mass counters and riot or entry counters snowball (Branching Evolution, Hardened Scales, Innkeeper's Talent) - Counters into damage: Permanents that deal damage whenever counters are placed turn a single Voja attack into burn spread across opponents, backed by entry-damage pings (All Will Be One, Shalai and Hallar, Impact Tremors) - Combat finishers and protection: Team-wide trample, evasion and double strike push the counter-laden board through blockers, while indestructibility effects protect the all-in swing (Akroma's Will, Garruk's Uprising, Heroic Intervention)
