Shelob, Child of Ungoliant leads a Spider tribal deck that leverages deathtouch to win combat and force favorable trades, then converts those killed creatures into Food tokens that can be sacrificed for life gain. The deck pairs deathtouch with fight spells and tap-to-deal-damage equipment, allowing Spiders to efficiently destroy any creature on the board while triggering Shelob's copy effect without needing to attack. A critical mass of Spiders enables token flooding through cards like Spider Spawning and Arachnogenesis, while graveyard recursion via Living Death and Patriarch's Bidding rebuilds the board after sweepers and pushes toward an overwhelming board presence.
