Clement, the Worrywort
Clement, the Worrywort Commander Deck
Clement is a cEDH-style creature-loop engine. Every creature that enters lets the deck return a cheaper creature to hand, and Frogs tap for creature-only mana, so ETB creatures can be recast over and over for value and mana. The deck pairs this bounce engine with free-casting and untap pieces like Aluren, Intruder Alarm, Food Chain, Peregrine Drake and Kinnan to build loops of infinite ETBs, draws, mana or spells cast. Self-bounce creatures, cheap cantrip bodies and a heavy counterspell suite let it grind value and protect the combo turn. How it wins: It assembles a repeatable creature loop through Clement's bounce trigger, generating infinite mana, card draw or spell casts, then kills with Aetherflux Reservoir or loops Hullbreaker Horror bounce to clear the board and win. Key roles: - Bounce engine: Clement's enter trigger and the self-bounce creatures return cheaper creatures to hand so they can be recast for repeated enters, and Dour Port-Mage draws a card each time one leaves (Clement, the Worrywort, Shrieking Drake, Stickytongue Sentinel, Dour Port-Mage). - Free-cast and untap loops: Free casting, untapping creatures on entry, or untapping lands on entry turn the bounce engine into infinite mana and infinite enters, with Frog mana paying for creature spells (Aluren, Intruder Alarm, Peregrine Drake). - Creature mana amplifiers: Mana creatures, doubled by Kinnan and Leyline, fuel the creature recasts, and Food Chain converts exiled creatures into creature-only mana for loops (Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy, Food Chain, Leyline of Abundance). - ETB value fodder: Cheap creatures that draw, dig or tutor on entry get recast repeatedly to refill the hand and find pieces (Coiling Oracle, Pond Prophet, Spellseeker, Eternal Witness). - Creature tutoring: Pod-style sacrifice tutors and creature search find the engine and loop pieces (Birthing Pod, Chord of Calling, Eldritch Evolution, Worldly Tutor). - Interaction and finishers: A dense counterspell package protects the combo, while spell-count payoffs end the game once the loops run (Fierce Guardianship, Mana Drain, Aetherflux Reservoir, Hullbreaker Horror).
