Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy Commander Deck
This is a Simic mana-doubling toolbox deck. Kinnan doubles the mana of every nonland permanent tapped for mana, so a dense package of mana creatures and artifacts snowballs into huge mana within a turn or two. That mana is spent on tutoring, free counterspells and protection, and it also fuels Kinnan's own activated ability to cheat non-Human creatures onto the battlefield. How it wins: The deck ramps far beyond its means, tutors or digs for a game-ending creature such as Craterhoof Behemoth, Ulamog, Walking Ballista or Finale of Devastation, and ends the game in one big turn while holding up counterspells against interaction. Key roles: - Mana doublers: Nonland mana creatures, artifacts and creature-granting enchantments generate extra mana through Kinnan and fix colors, so a few early plays turn into explosive mana. (Sol Ring, Birds of Paradise, Enduring Vitality) - Untap and mana loops: Effects that untap permanents or keep them untapped let the same mana sources produce mana repeatedly, each tap being doubled by Kinnan. (Seedborn Muse, Dramatic Reversal, Formidable Speaker) - Creature tutors and cheats: Spells and enters-the-battlefield effects fetch or put the best creature onto the battlefield at any size, turning excess mana into the right threat. (Green Sun's Zenith, Eldritch Evolution, Finale of Devastation) - Free and cheap counter wall: Cheap or free counterspells and counter-style protection stop opposing combos, removal and big plays while the deck assembles its win. (Mana Drain, Pact of Negation, Glen Elendra Guardian) - Card advantage and tax: Draw engines punish opponents for casting spells, and library-sorting spells keep the deck finding lands, answers and payoffs. (Rhystic Study, Ponder, Narset, Parter of Veils) - Clone and artifact toolbox: Copy effects and artifact recursion duplicate the best permanents on the battlefield, such as mana rocks or opposing threats, and artifact-focused effects reuse key spells and tutors. (Phyrexian Metamorph, Emry, Lurker of the Loch, Isochron Scepter) - Finishers and bounce: Huge threats close the game quickly, while repeatable bounce clears blockers and slows opponents. (Craterhoof Behemoth, Hullbreaker Horror, Tidespout Tyrant)
