Betor, Ancestor's Voice sits at the center of a life gain engine that converts each point of life gained into +1/+1 counters distributed across the board, while intentional life loss through card draw spells and effects like Phyrexian Arena fuels Betor's recursion ability to repeatedly reanimate creatures from the graveyard. The deck floods the board with creatures that each trigger life gain on entry, stacking counters through multiple redundant payoffs including Archangel of Thune and Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn, while effects that drain opponents whenever you gain life apply constant pressure. The primary win conditions are either a massive overrun attack with a pumped board using trample effects, or accumulating enough life to trigger Felidar Sovereign's upkeep victory condition.
