Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER leads a Naya Voltron-style equipment deck. It suits up Cloud and a cast of legendary Final Fantasy creatures, then attacks to draw a card per equipped attacker. Once Cloud reaches 7 power, each attack also makes two Treasures. The list leans hard on the "power 7 or greater" threshold: Tifa, Vincent, Bugenhagen and Cloud himself all pay off once a creature hits 7, and equipment like Wrecking Ball Arm, Colossus Hammer and Sephiroth's 7/5 rewrite get creatures there. How it wins: Oversized equipped attackers, often doubled through extra combats from Tifa or Genji Glove, deal lethal commander or combat damage while the card draw and Treasures from attack triggers keep the pressure refilling. Key roles: - Equipment cost cheating and auto-attach: These make equipping cheap or free, or attach equipment without paying, so several creatures can be suited up the turn they arrive. (Puresteel Paladin, Armory Automaton, Gilgamesh, Master-at-Arms) - Hitting the 7-power threshold: Base-power setters and big pumps push Cloud and other attackers to 7+, which turns on Cloud's Treasures and the other threshold payoffs. (Wrecking Ball Arm, Colossus Hammer, Sephiroth, Fallen Hero) - Power-7 payoffs and extra combats: Creatures and equipment that reward a 7-power hit with untaps, extra combats, double strike, or damage spread across every opponent, turning one big attacker into a kill. (Tifa, Martial Artist, Genji Glove, Vincent, Vengeful Atoner) - Equipment-fueled card advantage: Beyond Cloud's own attack draws, casting, entering, or connecting with equipment draws cards, so the deck can keep deploying gear. (Firion, Swordmaster, Buster Sword, Professor Hojo) - Legendary synergies and token bodies: Many cards reward legendary creatures with cheap equips, hexproof, trample and haste. Equipment that makes Hero or Rebel tokens gives the gear extra carriers, which means more equipped attackers for Cloud's draw trigger. (Hero's Heirloom, Champion's Helm, Barret, Avalanche Leader) - Protection and recursion of the suited threat: Indestructibility, phasing and hexproof keep the equipped commander alive, while recursion rebuilds creatures and lost gear after removal or a sweeper. (Darksteel Plate, Clever Concealment, Unfinished Business)
