The deck's core gameplan revolves around stacking enormous numbers of +1/+1 counters on creatures, primarily by using Bright-Palm, Soul Awakener's attack trigger to repeatedly double counters, with Kalonian Hydra and Byrke, Long Ear of the Law serving as additional doubling effects that make creatures grow exponentially. Cards like Shalai and Hallar convert each batch of counters placed into direct damage to opponents, while All Will Be One deals damage equal to counters placed, creating multiple paths to drain out the table. The deck protects and recycles its counter investments through blink effects that trigger enter-the-battlefield backup abilities again, counter-preservation permanents that rescue counters from dying creatures, and effects that grant the army flying or trample to push through the inevitable damage.
