The deck revolves around the text box swap ability of Deadpool, Trading Card, transplanting his self-sacrificing, card-drawing effect onto other creatures — particularly resilient or value-generating ones — to repeatedly exploit death and recursion synergies. The core engine floods the battlefield with temporary creature tokens through a suite of copy effects, which trigger death-based value when they expire at end of turn, draining opponents through triggers like those from Zulaport Cutthroat and generating Treasure tokens from each creature that dies. Mirror Box and The Master, Multiplied remove the legend rule as an obstacle, allowing multiple copies of powerful creatures to attack simultaneously with myriad for even more token generation and combat damage.
