Jon Irenicus, Shattered One is built around deliberately gifting opponents creatures that are burdensome or dangerous to control, such as Abyssal Persecutor, Steel Golem, and Plague Reaver, which prevent their new controllers from winning, casting creatures, or keeping their board intact. Once donated, these creatures are permanently goaded, forcing them to attack other opponents while Irenicus draws cards from each attack, generating continuous value. The deck supports this strategy with control elements like counterspells and tax effects, card advantage engines, and ways to recur or copy the cursed creatures to keep donating them turn after turn. there are also cheap creatures that prevent damages to me should other player target me
