The deck casts spells from anywhere but the hand: the top of the library, exile through cascade, plot, foretell and airbend, and the graveyard through flashback. Each of those casts triggers Kellan, the Kid to drop a free permanent of equal or lesser mana value from hand, or a land if it doesn't. Top-of-library permission effects and cascade/discover chains turn every turn into a string of extra free spells. Vega and Sage of the Beyond reward the same casts with cards and cost reduction, while a ramp creature base fuels the big drops. How it wins: The deck builds a wide, overwhelming board through chained free casts, then ends the game with a mass pump or evasion effect like Craterhoof Behemoth, Pathbreaker Ibex or Akroma's Memorial that makes the whole team lethal. Key roles: - Top-of-library engines: These let the deck cast spells off the top of the library, so every such cast becomes a Kellan, the Kid trigger and a source of card advantage. Top-manipulation helps set them up. (Future Sight, Falco Spara, Pactweaver, Elven Chorus) - Cascade and free-cast chains: Cascade, discover and free reveals cast spells from exile or the library. Each one triggers Kellan, the Kid again and snowballs into multiple free permanents. (Imoti, Celebrant of Bounty, Shardless Agent, Chimil, the Inner Sun) - Exile-zone casting: Plot, foretell, airbend and rebound move cards into exile so they can be recast later from outside the hand. These turn ordinary spells into extra triggers, and Appa adds tokens on top. (Fblthp, Lost on the Range, Appa, Steadfast Guardian, Cast Through Time) - Cast-outside-hand payoffs: These cards stack extra value on the deck's core action, drawing cards and cutting costs whenever a spell comes from somewhere other than the hand. (Vega, the Watcher, Sage of the Beyond, Doc Aurlock, Grizzled Genius) - Creature ramp and creature-cast value: Mana dorks and land ramp power out expensive threats, and Kellan's land fallback adds more drops. Draw engines reward casting creatures and big bodies. (Bloom Tender, Beast Whisperer, Oracle of Mul Daya) - Overrun finishers: Large creatures that grant team-wide pump, trample or evasion convert a board of dorks and tokens into a lethal attack. (Craterhoof Behemoth, Avenger of Zendikar, Pathbreaker Ibex)
