Liesa, Shroud of Dusk pressures all players by taxing every spell cast with a 2 life drain, while the deck builds a web of symmetrical life-loss and lifegain triggers through death effects, creature enters, and damage doublers to widen the life total gap over time. A constellation of redundant effects — creatures that punish opponents whenever you gain life, creatures that drain when other creatures die, and enchantments that mirror life loss back at opponents — creates a self-reinforcing drain engine backed by fast mana, elite tutors, and interaction that operates at the highest level of the format. The primary win conditions are Aetherflux Reservoir, which converts a critical mass of life into lethal damage, and Bolas's Citadel, which chains spells off the top of the library to generate a near-infinite storm count with Aetherflux Reservoir and Sensei's Divining Top.
