The Necrobloom
The Necrobloom Commander Deck
The Necrobloom turns every land drop into a body, creating 0/1 Plants early and 2/2 Zombies once seven or more differently named lands are in play, so the deck leans on extra land drops, land recursion and a varied manabase to build a wide board. Its second ability gives land cards in the graveyard dredge 2, turning ordinary draws into returned lands plus two milled cards. That fuels a self-mill and reanimation plan where the graveyard is both a land supply and a source of creatures to bring back. How it wins: The deck floods the board with Zombie tokens from repeated landfall and backs them with reanimated threats and mass pump or drain effects, overwhelming opponents through sheer width. Key roles: - Extra land drops and fetching: Cards that allow additional land plays or crack lands to search out more trigger multiple landfalls per turn, multiplying the commander's token output. - Land variety: Utility lands, fetches and basics of different names push toward the seven-name threshold that upgrades every Plant into a 2/2 Zombie. - Dredge and self-mill: Effects that mill, discard or sacrifice lands stock the graveyard so the commander's dredge 2 keeps returning lands while digging for reanimation targets. - Land recursion: Cards that play or return lands from the graveyard replay fetch lands and sacrificed lands repeatedly, creating a loop of landfall triggers with The Necrobloom. - Reanimation: Spells and creatures that return milled creatures from the graveyard to the battlefield cheaply turn the self-mill into large threats. - Token payoffs: Anthems, sacrifice outlets and drain or death triggers turn the swarm of Plants and Zombies into lethal damage or life loss.
