Thraximundar
Thraximundar Commander Deck
This deck uses Thraximundar as a pressure piece, forcing opponents to sacrifice creatures whenever he attacks while growing larger with each sacrifice, but the true engine is casting a high volume of instants and sorceries to trigger a suite of token generators and damage pingers. Creatures like Talrand, Sky Summoner and Shark Typhoon flood the board with flying tokens while pingers such as Guttersnipe and Electrostatic Field drain opponents' life totals passively with every spell cast. The deck wins through accumulated chip damage from spells-matter triggers, a wide board of tokens closing out combat, or a finisher like Exsanguinate fueled by the Treasure tokens generated throughout the game.
