This is a toughness-matters defender deck. Felothar the Steadfast lets every creature deal combat damage equal to its toughness and lets walls attack despite defender, so low-power, high-toughness bodies become real attackers. The commander's sacrifice ability also turns those same bodies into card draw: high toughness draws many cards, and low power means few or no discards. Mana walls, toughness pumps and evasion fill out the plan, alongside a lifegain and drain package that punishes opponents for the gap between power and toughness. How it wins: Swing with a wide board of walls and big-butt creatures pumped with extra toughness, often all at once in a single alpha strike, while drain effects and lifegain-fueled payoffs chip in the last points. Key roles: - Defender-matters mana: Walls and druids that tap for mana scaled by defender count or by the highest toughness, which ramps quickly into expensive threats and Felothar the Steadfast activations (Axebane Guardian, Overgrown Battlement, Arbor Adherent) - Toughness-as-damage redundancy: Backup effects that make creatures deal damage by toughness or let defenders attack, so the plan keeps working when Felothar the Steadfast is off the table (Assault Formation, Baldin, Century Herdmaster, Wakestone Gargoyle) - Toughness pumps and finishers: Mass toughness boosts and creatures that scale off the board's total toughness, turning an ordinary attack into lethal (Canopy Gargantuan, Towering Titan, Tower Defense) - Wall value and sacrifice draw: Walls that draw cards or make tokens on entry, then become fodder for Felothar the Steadfast's sacrifice draw, with high-toughness deaths recurred or rewarded with land ramp (Wingmantle Chaplain, Rampart Architect, Colfenor's Urn) - Lifegain and drain: Lifegain amplifiers and payoffs that convert gained life into counters, reanimation or life loss for opponents, while entering 0-power creatures ping opponents directly (Rhox Faithmender, Jaws of Defeat, Indulging Patrician) - Evasion and safe combat: Effects that stop opponents from blocking the low-power attackers, plus a size-based sweeper and global shrink effect that spare the deck's own walls (Sidar Kondo of Jamuraa, Behind the Scenes, Slaughter the Strong)
