Maralen, Fae Ascendant leads a tribal Elf and Faerie deck that generates value by constantly triggering her enter-the-battlefield ability, exiling opponents' cards and casting them for free based on how many Elves and Faeries you control. The deck floods the board with cheap tribal creatures to maximize the number of free spells available each turn, while a suite of counterspells and flash enablers like Vedalken Orrery and Leyline of Anticipation allow the deck to develop at instant speed and protect its board. The primary win condition is overwhelming opponents through card advantage, denial, and tempo, with Oona, Queen of the Fae as a late-game mana sink that simultaneously mills opponents and generates a continuous stream of Faerie tokens to further fuel Maralen's ability.
