The deck's central gameplan is to transform Avatar Aang into Aang, Master of Elements by performing all four bending actions in a single turn, drawing cards along the way, and then leveraging his transformed side to cast spells for five generic mana less, enabling massive free or near-free plays. The deck supports this by building a wide board of Ally creatures whose tapping can help pay waterbend and earthbend costs, while airbending mechanics exile and recast permanents for reduced costs, generating value and triggering cards like Fire Lord Zuko to snowball counters across the board. Once Aang is flipping back and forth each upkeep, the recurring life gain, card draw, counter accumulation, and damage to all opponents creates an overwhelming resource and pressure advantage that closes out the game.
