Kona, Rescue Beastie fuels the deck's core gameplan by tapping to attack and then cheating massive creatures directly onto the battlefield at no mana cost during the second main phase, bypassing the hefty mana costs of the deck's enormous threats. The deck backs this up with redundant creature-cheating effects, a dense package of trample enablers that let its oversized creatures punch through for full damage, and card draw tied to controlling high-power creatures, converting board presence into sustained momentum. The primary win condition is a combo using Hydra Omnivore alongside Triumph of the Hordes, where a single attack with infect simultaneously poisons all opponents to death, since any combat damage Hydra Omnivore deals to one opponent is mirrored to all others.
