Indominus Rex, Alpha is a Sultai creature-stacking deck. The commander discards keyword-dense creatures as it enters, gains a matching counter for every keyword among them, and draws a card per counter, so one cast can turn into a huge evasive threat plus a full refill. The discarded creatures then become graveyard resources for a broad reanimation package. Counter doubling and +1/+1 counter engines grow the board further, and copy effects duplicate the commander's enter trigger. How it wins: Through combat, by attacking with an oversized, keyword-stacked Indominus Rex and other large evasive creatures, often after reanimating or copying them, with free interaction to protect the turn. Key roles: - Keyword discard fodder: Creatures packed with flying, first strike, deathtouch, lifelink, hexproof, haste, menace, trample and similar keywords. Discarding them to Indominus Rex, Alpha hands it many counters and draws many cards, and they double as strong reanimation targets afterward. (Sire of Seven Deaths, Questing Beast, Gurmag Swiftwing) - Reanimation and recursion: Spells and creatures that bring discarded fatties back from the graveyard or return them to hand, turning the commander's discard into extra bodies. A mass reanimation spell can flip a whole stocked graveyard at once. (Reanimate, Living Death, Metamorphosis Fanatic) - Counter amplification: Effects that double or add counters magnify both the keyword counters and the +1/+1 counters. Graveyard cards that grant keyword counters let creatures without many keywords still build up an Indominus Rex. (Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, Scavenged Brawler, Qarsi Revenant) - Copy and replay: Clone effects and token copies duplicate the commander or other big threats and repeat their enter triggers for more cards and bodies. (Spark Double, Sakashima the Impostor, Quantum Misalignment) - Creature value engines: Permanents that reward each creature entering with counters and cards, keeping the hand full and the threats large. A discard-to-tutor creature also feeds the graveyard plan. (The Great Henge, Railway Brawler, Fauna Shaman) - Free interaction and protection: Commander-enabled free spells, cheap counters and bounce protect the key turn and clear blockers or opposing answers. (Fierce Guardianship, Deadly Rollick, Cyclonic Rift)
