Satoru Umezawa turns every creature card in hand into a ninjutsu threat, so this deck attacks with cheap evasive creatures and swaps them for enormous Eldrazi and dragons for just {2}{U}{B}, skipping their real mana costs. Each ninjutsu activation also triggers Satoru's look-at-three card selection, once per turn, which helps dig toward the next fatty. Combat-damage payoffs, cheap interaction and free counterspells keep the attacks flowing and protect the engine. How it wins: An unblockable creature connects, Satoru ninjutsus in a titan like Blightsteel Colossus, an annihilator Eldrazi or an Elder Dragon, and the combat damage and attack triggers kill or cripple opponents within a turn or two. Key roles: - Unblockable enablers: Cheap creatures that can't be blocked reliably go unblocked, so there is always an attacker to return to hand for a Satoru ninjutsu, and they can be recast to repeat the trick (Slither Blade, Triton Shorestalker, Changeling Outcast). - Ninjutsu payloads: Huge creatures that are hard to cast normally but cheap through Satoru. They bring annihilator, mass library exile, poison damage, or combat triggers that steal creatures and draw piles of cards (Blightsteel Colossus, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, Ancient Silver Dragon). - Combat-damage value: Permanents that draw cards, make Treasures or steal cards whenever creatures connect, turning each evasive hit into fuel for more ninjutsu (Enduring Curiosity, Rev, Tithe Extractor, Orochi Soul-Reaver). - Native ninjas and bounce tricks: Real ninjutsu cards and creatures that bounce or copy attackers add extra activations, copy a landed titan, or redeploy creatures for value (Thousand-Faced Shadow, Kaito, Bane of Nightmares, Dour Port-Mage). - Free interaction shell: Zero-mana and one-mana counterspells and removal protect the combat turn and clear blockers while all mana goes to ninjutsu (Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, Deadly Rollick). - Tax-based card flow: Stax-style draw engines and taxing effects punish opponents' spells, refilling the hand with creature cards to ninjutsu in (Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, Mai, Scornful Striker).
