Rakdos, Patron of Chaos Commander Deck

by spectral_orc100 cards

Rakdos, Patron of Chaos fuels an aggressive Rakdos punisher deck. Each end step he hands an opponent a lose-lose choice: sacrifice two real permanents or let the deck draw two. Around him sits a board of hasty, evasive attackers, treasure-making combat creatures and growing Army tokens, backed by life-loss punishers that turn opponent draws, sacrifices and creature deaths into damage. How it wins: Repeated attacks from flyers, menace Armies and treasure-snowballing creatures chip opponents down, while drain and punisher effects finish off whoever survives the combat damage. Key roles: - Rakdos tax and punishment: The commander's end-step choice either strips opponents' boards or refills the hand, and card-draw punishers make forced or symmetric draws and sacrifices hurt opponents too (Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Underworld Dreams, Mayhem Devil). - Aggressive treasure attackers: Cheap, often hasty creatures that make Treasure on attack or combat damage, ramping toward the big demons and paying off Treasure-spend synergies (Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer, Prosperous Bandit, Mastermind Plum). - Amass Army: Spells and creatures keep stacking +1/+1 counters on a single Army token, which gains menace from equipment or a counters lord to become a growing evasive threat (Misty Mountains Raider, Great Ugly-Looking Goblin, Goblin Plate Mail). - Sacrifice payoffs: Treasures, sacrificed creatures and opponents' forced sacrifices turn into pings, counters and card draw (Havoc Jester, Juri, Master of the Revue, Deadly Dispute). - Edicts and board wipes: Forced-sacrifice and one-sided sweeper effects clear blockers so attackers connect, and opponents' dying creatures cost them life or draw cards (Massacre Wurm, Voracious Fell Beast, Make an Example). - Drain inevitability: Static life-loss engines and lifegain lock-outs keep pressure on opponents even when combat stalls (Exquisite Blood, Palace Siege, Erebos, God of the Dead).
