Teval mills itself to stock the graveyard, then gets paid every time cards leave it: each exit makes a 2/2 Zombie Druid, and many other cards in the list double up on that trigger with more tokens, Treasure, cards and damage. Self-mill, entomb effects and land-sacrifice ramp fill the yard. A wide spread of recursion, cast-from-graveyard and exile-for-value effects then pulls cards back out repeatedly, turning the graveyard into a token and value engine. Reanimation of big threats and land recursion off Teval's attack trigger keep the board growing while the commander flies in. How it wins: It builds a wide board of Zombie tokens and reanimated threats and closes with flying beats, Syr Konrad and Mirkwood Bats style drain, sacrifice payoffs, or the Gravecrawler, Kheru Goldkeeper and Altar of Dementia loop that recasts Gravecrawler endlessly for unbounded leave-the-graveyard triggers, tokens and mill. Key roles: - Graveyard filling: Self-mill on attacks, upkeeps and enters, plus tutors that dump chosen cards straight into the yard, supply both recursion targets and land drops for Teval's attack trigger (Stitcher's Supplier, Buried Alive, Sidisi, Brood Tyrant). - Leave-the-graveyard payoffs: Extra triggers on cards leaving the graveyard stack with Teval's to churn out Zombies, Plants, Treasure, cards and drain whenever anything is recast, returned or exiled (Teval's Judgment, Tormod, the Desecrator, Kheru Goldkeeper). - Recursion and graveyard casting: Repeatable ways to cast or return permanents from the yard, and to exile cards for mana, generate those triggers over and over (Muldrotha, the Gravetide, Six, Titans' Nest). - Land recursion and landfall: Fetch-style lands and land-sacrifice ramp hit the graveyard, Teval and loop effects bring them back, and landfall turns each return into cards, mill or Plant growth (Life from the Loam, The Gitrog Monster, Tatyova, Benthic Druid). - Reanimation of big threats: Mass and targeted reanimation, sometimes off milling itself, puts graveyard-scaling bodies and large flyers into play (Living Death, Colossal Grave-Reaver, Lord of Extinction). - Sacrifice outlets and aristocrat finish: Outlets turn the token stream into mill, drain and damage, and power the infinite Gravecrawler loop (Altar of Dementia, Gravecrawler, Syr Konrad, the Grim).
