Massimo, the Magician Commander Deck

by Helwar100 cards

Massimo turns every creature entering into a carrier for a 1-mana instant or sorcery from the graveyard, and that creature can recast a free copy each time it connects in combat. The deck is a near-pure one-drop shell: cheap cantrips, burn and Spree spells fill the graveyard, and a swarm of evasive one-mana creatures picks up those spells and hits players to replay them. Copy amplifiers, magecraft draw and storm-style multiplication turn each free copy into extra cards, damage or combats. How it wins: Evasive one-drops carrying exiled burn and Spree spells connect repeatedly, and each hit recasts Lightning Bolt, Lava Spike or a fully-moded Great Train Heist for extra combats, while copy multipliers and pump close out the game. Key roles: - Graveyard stocking: Cantrips, looters and self-mill put 1-mana instants and sorceries into the graveyard so Massimo always has targets, and they also enable delirium and threshold payoffs (Faithless Looting, Thought Scour, Otherworldly Gaze). - Evasive carriers: Unblockable, shadow, menace and flying one-drops reliably deal combat damage, so their attached spells keep getting recast. Bodies that enter repeatedly create more Massimo triggers (Slither Blade, Drifter il-Dal, Tin Street Dodger). - Free Spree payloads: Copies cast without paying their mana cost can still pay Spree's additional costs. That makes Spree cards the best spells to exile, granting extra combats and Treasure, board wipes, counterspells or creature copies off a single hit (Great Train Heist, Three Steps Ahead, Final Showdown). - Copy amplification: Effects that add copies or double triggered abilities multiply each recast, and Wizard's Staff on a carrier doubles its combat-damage trigger (Twinning Staff, Wizard's Staff, Thousand-Year Storm). - Spell payoffs: Copies count as casting or copying, so card draw and prowess-style growth snowball, while burn clears blockers or goes face (Archmage Emeritus, Lightning Bolt, Lava Spike). - Go-wide pressure: Battle cry, battalion and +1/+1 counter spells push a board of small attackers through for damage and help them survive (Legion Loyalist, Signal Pest, Requisition Raid).
