Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge Commander Deck

by sashazaa100 cards

Jeleva is a Grixis spellslinger deck that wants to exile the top cards of every library when it enters, then attack with a flying 1/3 to cast an exiled instant or sorcery for free. The list is packed with expensive sorceries and big-impact spells, and the deck leans on cheap rocks, talismans and mana lands to cast Jeleva early, since X depends only on the mana actually spent on its cost (4, plus 2 per earlier cast from the command zone). Free-cast and copy effects then turn each spell into a larger payoff, and attack triggers are protected by haste and shroud or hexproof equipment. How it wins: Free-cast and copied high-mana-value spells deal damage directly, drain life, or force opponents to lose life, while repeated Jeleva attacks and extra turns keep the spells coming until opponents run out of life. Key roles: - Mana acceleration: Cheap rocks and mana-fixing artifacts get Jeleva down quickly and also ramp toward the very expensive spells in the list. (Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Chromatic Lantern) - Free-cast and exile-and-cast engines: Cards that exile from libraries and cast the results for free, together with Jeleva's own trigger, convert exiled spells into big effects without paying their cost, often using opponents' cards. (Dream Harvest, Improvisation Capstone, Ensnared by the Mara) - Spell copying: Copy effects and graveyard recasts double or triple key instants and sorceries, making each free spell hit several times over. (Double Vision, Mizzix's Mastery, Mnemonic Deluge) - Mana-value damage and drain: Spells and creatures that convert the mana value of cast or revealed cards into damage or life loss turn expensive free spells into a direct win path. (Vial Smasher the Fierce, Baneful Omen, Soulfire Eruption) - Voting and villainous-choice spells: Council's dilemma, secret council and villainous-choice sorceries punish opponents whichever way they choose, dealing damage or taking resources. (Prisoner's Dilemma, Mob Verdict, Capital Punishment) - Sweepers and commander protection: Mass removal clears the board for flying attackers and extra damage, while equipment keeps the commander alive and attacking with haste. (Blasphemous Act, Decree of Pain, Lightning Greaves)
