Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge fuels the deck by exiling large swaths of cards from all players' libraries on entry, then attacking to cast high-impact instants and sorceries for free from that exile pool — a pool that grows deeper each time she is recast with commander tax. Passionate Archaeologist converts every cast-from-exile spell into direct damage scaled to its mana value, and copy effects like Double Vision and Repeated Reverberation multiply the impact of each free spell into an overwhelming barrage that closes games through sheer volume and power. A subtheme of dilemma spells forces opponents into impossible choices, while additional incidental life drain from cards like Baneful Omen and heavy-hitting finishers such as Expropriate and Mizzix's Mastery overloaded ensure that once the engine is running, there is no good answer on either side of any vote.
