Arcades, the Strategist Commander Deck
Arcades, the Strategist transforms a defensive wall of high-toughness defender creatures into an aggressive attacking force, since under his rule those creatures deal damage equal to their toughness and can attack freely. Every defender that enters the battlefield draws a card, ensuring the deck floods the board with blockers that double as threats while maintaining a steady stream of resources. The deck also runs redundant enchantments like High Alert and Assault Formation that replicate Arcades' damage-switching effect as backup win conditions, and closes out games by swinging with a wide board of massive-toughness creatures that opponents are unprepared to block profitably.
