Chatterfang turns every token event into a bigger one by adding a matching number of Squirrels, so Food, Treasure, Clue and creature-token makers all also flood the board with Squirrels. The deck uses token doublers and copiers to grow the swarm, then feeds Squirrels and other fodder into sacrifice outlets. Those outlets produce mana, cards and death-trigger drain, while Chatterfang's own {B}-and-sacrifice ability turns spare Squirrels into -X/-X removal. How it wins: It drains opponents through repeated creature and token deaths with aristocrat payoffs, or swarms with pumped Squirrels for a lethal alpha strike, often backed by an overrun effect. Key roles: - Token multiplication: Doublers, copiers and replacement effects stack with Chatterfang's Squirrel bonus, so a single token trigger snowballs into a huge board. Hazel's end-step copies and mass token copying multiply it further (Doubling Season, Parallel Lives, Second Harvest). - Artifact token engines: Food and Treasure producers, especially those that make one of each artifact token or extra Food per token event, each spawn Squirrels through Chatterfang. Sacrificing Food loops back into more Squirrels and Treasure (Academy Manufactor, Peregrin Took, Nuka-Cola Vending Machine). - Squirrel generators: Repeatable Squirrel makers, cheap token spells and storm keep a steady stream of bodies flowing for sacrifice and attacking (The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, Chitterspitter, Squirrel Nest). - Sacrifice outlets and value: Altars and similar outlets convert surplus tokens into mana, Treasure and cards. Mana from token taps and creature counts lets big turns chain into more token spells (Ashnod's Altar, Phyrexian Altar, Skullclamp). - Aristocrat drain: Death and token-leave triggers ping every opponent for each sacrificed Squirrel, so a mass sacrifice turns the swarm into direct life loss. Chatterfang's sacrifice ability doubles as a way to fire these at will (Zulaport Cutthroat, Blood Artist, Mirkwood Bats). - Squirrel tribal beatdown: Lords, menace granters and anthems make the wide Squirrel army a real attacking threat with card draw on connection, finished by mass pump and trample (Craterhoof Behemoth, The Odd Acorn Gang, Squirrel Sovereign).
