Satoru Umezawa enables every creature in hand to be ninjutsu'd onto the battlefield by returning an unblocked attacker, while also filtering the top of the library each time a ninjutsu ability is activated. The deck exploits this by running a swarm of small, evasive creatures — many with flying — that slip past blockers cheaply, then gets swapped out for massive threats like Rune-Scarred Demon, Mindleech Mass, or Shredder, Shadow Master that punish opponents the moment they connect with combat damage, halving life totals or stealing spells from hand. A suite of counterspells and interaction protects the strategy while combat damage triggers on cards like Coastal Piracy and Reconnaissance Mission keep the hand full to fuel more ninjutsu activations.
