Lathril, Blade of the Elves leads a swarm strategy that leverages menace to connect combat damage and flood the board with Elf tokens, then converts that army into a life-draining engine by tapping ten Elves to drain each opponent for 10 life. The deck accelerates this plan through a dense package of mana-producing Elves and lords that buff the whole tribe, enabling explosive boards capable of firing off Lathril's tap ability multiple times. When the drain plan isn't enough, Craterhoof Behemoth or a large Finale of Devastation can turn the token swarm into a lethal combat alpha strike with trample.
