Thranduil, the Elvenking leads a graveyard-empowered Elf tribal deck that gains access to the activated abilities of all Elves in the graveyard, letting the deck use milling effects and recursive strategies to accumulate powerful tools like mass mana generation, token creation, and life drain. The deck floods the board with Elves while stacking anthem effects and +1/+1 counters to grow a massive army, then wins through either Lathril, Blade of the Elves draining opponents with tapped Elves, pumping the whole team with Timberwatch Elf or tribal-wide bonuses for a combat kill, or leveraging Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord to sacrifice a power-boosted creature and deal lethal damage to all opponents simultaneously. A strong scry and card selection engine, fueled by legendary Elf triggers drawing cards through Thranduil, keeps the deck churning through its library and ensures threats are always ready to deploy.
