Y'shtola, Night's Blessed rewards you for casting expensive noncreature spells by draining opponents and drawing cards, so the deck fills up on high-mana-value interaction, counterspells, and wraths to repeatedly trigger her while grinding down life totals. The deck controls the board through taxing effects, bounce, and hard counters, keeping opponents off-balance while accumulating card advantage through Y'shtola and enchantments that reward opponent actions. The primary win conditions are the Demonic Consultation plus Thassa's Oracle instant-win combo and a Teferi, Time Raveler and Displacer Kitten engine that generates near-infinite mana and storm count to close out the game.
