Rootha, Mastering the Moment rewards casting instants and sorceries by creating large flying, hasty Elemental tokens whose power scales with the mana value of the spells cast that turn, so the deck focuses on casting expensive spells to produce enormous threats. The deck accelerates into high-cost instants and sorceries, takes extra turns and extra combats to attack repeatedly with those tokens, and uses spell-doubling effects from cards like Thousand-Year Storm and Veyran, Voice of Duality to maximize the value and frequency of triggers. Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer can convert the token army into copies of the most powerful token on the battlefield, and recursive threat generation through Manaform Hellkite and similar payoffs ensures a steady stream of aerial damage to close out the game.
