The deck uses Sarah Jane Smith and The Fifteenth Doctor together to generate a constant stream of artifacts through investigating, milling, and casting historic spells, then leverages improvise to deploy those artifacts cheaply while fueling card draw through artifact-tapping synergies like Shimmer Dragon. The core engine relies on cards that produce additional artifacts whenever you cast artifacts, snowballing the artifact count so that affinity-style payoffs like Kappa Cannoneer and Nettlecyst scale to enormous proportions, while Mechanized Production offers an alternate path to victory by copying a key artifact until you accumulate enough duplicates to win outright. Sacrifice, bounce, and recursion loops keep the artifact count climbing every turn, and a bobblehead subtheme adds redundant artifact triggers that further inflate the numbers feeding into these payoffs.
