Glissa Sunslayer Commander Deck

by WillyLiverknot100 cards

Glissa Sunslayer leads a poison aggro deck that swarms the board with cheap toxic and deathtouch creatures. It stacks poison counters through amplifiers like Fynn, Necrogen Rotpriest and Plague Nurse, then multiplies them with a dense proliferate package. Glissa herself is a hard-to-block first-strike deathtouch attacker. Each time she connects she draws cards, breaks enchantments, or strips counters off an opponent's permanents, while deathtouch blockers and removal keep the path clear for the poison army. How it wins: Opponents reach ten poison counters from repeated toxic hits, with poison doubling and proliferate pushing them over, backed by corrupted life loss and big evasive toxic finishers. Key roles: - Toxic swarm: A wide curve of cheap toxic creatures and auras puts poison on every opponent early and keeps the clock running from many directions at once. (Branchblight Stalker, Necrogen Communion, Bilious Skulldweller) - Poison amplifiers: These pieces raise how much poison each hit gives. Deathtouch hits add extra counters, toxic hits each give one more, and the whole team can gain more toxic at once, turning small connects into lethal ones. (Fynn, the Fangbearer, Necrogen Rotpriest, Plague Nurse) - Proliferate package: Creatures and spells add another poison counter to every poisoned opponent, often several times a turn. Many of them also grow +1/+1 or oil counters on the deck's own permanents. (Bloated Contaminator, Venomous Brutalizer, Copper Longlegs) - Deathtouch wall and growth: A cluster of deathtouch creatures, Glissa included, makes blocking and attacking costly for opponents. Payoffs reward those creatures for connecting with +1/+1 counters or extra poison. (Aveline de Grandpré, Ichorspit Basilisk, Hunter's Axe) - Corrupted payoffs: Once opponents sit at three or more poison, these cards turn on card draw, life loss, efficient removal and recursion, so the deck snowballs as poison builds. (Goliath Hatchery, Feed the Infection, Glissa's Retriever) - Big evasive finishers and pump: Large toxic creatures that dodge small blockers, plus team-wide pump spells, close games in one big alpha strike. (Paladin of Predation, Tyrranax Atrocity, Noxious Assault)
