Kotis, the Fangkeeper
Kotis, the Fangkeeper Commander Deck
Kotis-centered Voltron. The deck suits up its indestructible commander with Auras, Equipment and pump spells, then makes it unblockable so each hit both chips at life totals and exiles that many cards from the opponent's library to cast for free. Damage multipliers do double duty: double strike makes Kotis trigger twice, and doubled damage digs deeper and lets bigger spells qualify. Felix Five-Boots also doubles every combat-damage trigger. Cheap hexproof tricks and counterspells keep the single threat alive. How it wins: Repeated unblockable, doubled or double-struck hits from a heavily suited Kotis (or another carrier like Felix) deal lethal commander damage, while the stolen free spells snowball the board. Key roles: - Evasion: Aura and spell effects that make the carrier unblockable or flying, or let it hit through blockers, so combat damage reliably connects and Kotis triggers every turn. (Aqueous Form, Aether Tunnel, Rogue's Passage) - Power and damage multipliers: Stat-boosting Auras, equipment and pump instants raise the damage, which both speeds up commander damage and increases X for Kotis, so more and larger exiled spells can be cast free. (Inquisitor's Flail, Fireshrieker, Rancor) - Trigger doubling: Effects that make combat-damage triggers fire again. These multiply Kotis's exile-and-cast and the Aura-based card draw. (Felix Five-Boots, Fireshrieker, Gonti, Night Minister) - Stealing opponents' libraries: Kotis and its sorcery mirror turn opponents' decks into free spells. Gonti adds extra stolen cards and gives Treasure to whoever casts a spell they don't own. Free casts from exile also fuel the Doctor's counters and untaps. (Villainous Wealth, Gonti, Night Minister, The Thirteenth Doctor) - Aura and target value: Enchantments and spells that target own creatures draw cards or add counters, so the suiting-up process refills the hand instead of overcommitting. (Season of Growth, Entity Tracker, Hollowmurk Siege) - Protection suite: Cheap hexproof instants, Boots, Tam and counters shield the lone threat and the Aura investment. Indestructible already covers destroy effects, so exile, bounce and Aura removal are the real dangers. (Tam, Mindful First-Year, Swiftfoot Boots, Snakeskin Veil)
