Jace, Multiverse Architect drives a four-color "polymorph" deck. Cheap token makers and expendable bodies get exiled and cashed in for the top creature of a library that is stacked almost entirely with huge, game-warping threats. Jace's -3, plus mass effects that exile the whole board and reveal that many creatures, turn 1/1 tokens into eight-drop Angels, Demons and Archons. The +1 and the deck's draw-then-put-back spells hold the plan together by sculpting hand and library while Jace taxes attackers. How it wins: The deck cheats out oversized fliers like Archon of Cruelty, Archfiend of Despair, Avacyn, Akroma and The Ur-Sphinx, often several at once, and beats down with them while their enter and attack triggers drain and dismantle opponents. Key roles: - Polymorph cheats: These exile one or all of a player's creatures and reveal until creatures appear, turning cheap bodies into the deck's biggest threats. Jace's -3 adds to this, and the reveal-style enter abilities on other creatures keep the chain going. (Mass Polymorph, Synthetic Destiny, Proteus Staff) - Token fodder: Instant and sorcery token makers, plus recurring token engines, flood the board with cheap bodies. More bodies mean more creatures revealed by the mass exile effects, and more targets for Jace's -3. (Secure the Wastes, Grand Crescendo, Lingering Souls) - Fatty payload: The few creature cards are almost all expensive bombs whose enter or attack triggers punish opponents or protect the board, so every reveal hits something powerful. (Archon of Cruelty, Avacyn, Angel of Horror, Archfiend of Despair) - Board resets: Token-making wipes, and wipes that only cost replaceable bodies, clear opposing boards while leaving behind fodder or a stocked library for the next polymorph. (Martial Coup, White Sun's Twilight, Sunfall) - Library sculpting and spell value: Draw-then-put-back effects set up the top of the library and hand. Engines reward the heavy noncreature spell count with cards, Sharks and Jace emblems or counters. (Brainstorm, Whirlwind of Thought, Shark Typhoon) - Protection and theft: Indestructibility effects shield the cheated threats. Cards that copy or steal opponents' permanents add more free value. (Flawless Maneuver, Venser, Fervent Forger, Jhoira, Weatherlight Corsair)
