The commander and every instant and sorcery get cheaper for each creature controlled, so X spells and big sorceries become cheap or free. Early mana creatures and token makers fill the board. Effects that let every creature tap for mana then convert that wide board into explosive mana for huge X spells, tutors and mass draw. How it wins: The deck builds a wide token board, then finishes with a Craterhoof-style overrun or a large X drain like Exsanguinate or Torment of Hailfire, backed by drain triggers from token creation and spellcasting. Key roles: - Mana creatures and early board: One-drop dorks and mana creatures accelerate early. Each one also counts toward affinity, so the commander and spells shrink in cost quickly. (Elvish Mystic, Birds of Paradise, Badgermole Cub) - Token generation and multiplication: Recurring upkeep token makers, cheap repeatable token spells and token doublers widen the board, feeding affinity and providing chump fodder. (Chatterfang, Squirrel General, Bitterblossom, Second Harvest) - Creatures as mana: Effects that give every creature or token a mana ability turn the wide board into enormous mana, which fuels X spells and combines with affinity-discounted spells. (Cryptolith Rite, Enduring Vitality, Springleaf Parade) - Affinity-discounted spell payoffs: Expensive sorceries and instants become cheap as the board grows. These include mass card draw scaled to creature count, mass token spells and one-sided board wipes. (Collective Unconscious, Army of the Damned, In Garruk's Wake) - Creature tutors and toolbox: X-cost and convoke tutors fetch key engines or the finisher. Affinity and creature mana make large X values easy. (Finale of Devastation, Chord of Calling, Green Sun's Zenith) - Drain and finishers: Life loss from token creation and spellcasting chips at opponents.
