Forced searches turn the commander into a weapon: each search makes that opponent sacrifice a creature and lose 10 life. Meanwhile constant edicts, removal and board wipes kill creatures, and every death grows the commander into a huge flying, trampling threat. Heavy Swamp-based mana pushes out big demons, recursion brings back what dies, and the doubling and drain effects turn any life loss into lethal. How it wins: It kills with a giant flying, trampling Ob Nixilis and a demon air force, backed by forced-search 10-life hits and doubled drains, or through Liliana's Contract with four demons, or with Bloodletter of Aclazotz plus Rush of Dread. Key roles: - Forced opponent searches: These cards make opponents search their library, triggering Ob Nixilis, Unshackled's sacrifice and 10-life loss. Land destruction that offers a basic-land search also baits the trigger (Varragoth, Bloodsky Sire, Scheming Symmetry, Mornsong Aria). - Death engine: Edicts, spot removal and sweepers strip opposing boards. Each creature death puts counters on Ob Nixilis, Unshackled, and some of these cards also draw cards or chain more removal (Archfiend of Depravity, Sheoldred, Whispering One, Reaper from the Abyss). - Demon tribal: Demon tutors and big demon bodies form a flying threat base.
