Kenrith, the Returned King serves as a versatile utility engine, using his activated abilities to draw cards, recur creatures, and gain life while the deck focuses on explosive mana generation through Treasures and artifact ramp to fuel its many angles of attack. The deck pursues multiple alternative win conditions simultaneously — including reaching high enough life totals, accumulating enough Treasures or gold counters, or placing sufficient +1/+1 counters — backed by a robust suite of counterspells and protection to keep those plans intact. The primary combo finish involves looping a wheel effect with Smothering Tithe and Underworld Breach to generate near-infinite Treasures and storm count, or bouncing mana rocks with Hullbreaker Horror to produce infinite mana and storm, ultimately closing out through one of the deck's many threshold-based win conditions.
